We essentially act as your businesses controller, handling all matters related to accounting and taxes, providing monthly financial statements, payroll and sales tax preparation, bank reconciliations, tax planning etc using either our in-house software or leading well-known packages (ie Quickbooks, Peachtree)

Business Annual Accounting/Tax Preparation

Whether you use your own accounting package or you want us to handle the bookkeeping for the year, every business is required to prepare and maintain accounting records from which income tax returns are prepared. We can either prepare basic finanial statements that satisfy most 3rd party users (compilations) or statements that provide reasonable assurance on the financial statements (reviews). Either way, we'll post the necessary journal entries to best position the business from a financial standpoint, while complying with Federal, State and Local laws and accounting standards. We prepare all types of business returns, from C and S Corporations, to LLC's, partnerships and sole-proprietorships.

Tax Preparation for Individuals, Estate and Trusts

We prepare tax returns for all types of entities, from Individuals and Trusts to Estates, Benefit Plans and Not-for-Profits as required by the Federal government and any of the 50 states.

Business Start-Up, Sale or Acquisition

It is the American Dream for many people to own their own business. We provide counsel every step of the way, from forecasting and preparing cash-flow projections to performing due-diligence work for the purchase of existing businesses. We typically quarterback the entire transaction, coordinating with brokers, attorneys and banks to ensure that our clients are best served. When the time comes to exit a business, we can best position a business for sale and then put to work any part of our extensive network of professionals to locate a buyer, while achieving the best possible sales price and tax effect.

IRS and State Representation

We insist on representing all of our clients before the IRS and State and local taxing authorities. With over 30 years of experience, we have had much success in mitigating tax problems, through various representation and settlement options. We work hard to ensure that our clients are dealt with fairly, and that if a sum is ultimately owed, that it is just and manageable.

Business Consulting

This service can take on many forms. We often review internal financial controls, suggest document flow, counsel on employment issues, review and suggest software solutions, plan for business successions, discuss equipment purchase options, devise employee incentive arrangements and benefit plans, the list goes on and on.

Payroll

We take the hassle out of doing payroll. For prices competitive with the national vendors, our service is far superior. We make your payroll tax deposits with the appropriate federal and state agencies. We prepare your payroll tax returns each quarter and W-2’s at year's end.

We offer two payroll options - Paper and Electronic. The cost is the same.

Paper service - Fax, email, or call-in your employee's hours to our payroll department. We prepare paper checks and your payroll report.

Electronic Service - Fax, Email, or call-in your employee's hours to our payroll department. Employee checks are direct deposited into their bank accounts.

Check Writing

One of the ways we help our business clients is to become their internal accounting department - remotely. We provide professional, consistent, no hassle bookkeeping, using the latest technology available. Our clients save money by not having additional employees on staff - requiring payroll, taxes, health insurance, pension plans, and other employee related cost. Plus, no back-up worries and no file copying or transferring. We can look at your data online to solve problems instantly.

Quickbooks Installation and Support

Quickbooks is the market leader in providing low-cost accounting software to small businesses. As Quickbooks Pro Advisors, we have worked with Quickbooks software for years. We'll install and set-up the software at your home or office, train you and your staff on using the software, and provide ongoing support for any issues that you may have. We are also very idept at using Peachtree software and other select accounting packages.

Business Valuations

As part of our practice, we routinely provide our professional opinion with respect to the value of a business. This is typically performed in tandem with the buying or selling of a business, but is also common as a result of shareholder agreements or disputes, divorce settlements and estate tax preparation.
